Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Rolls Out Android 7.0 Nougat Update For Indian Users

With over 5 million unit sold, Xiaomi, did announced that the Redmi Note 4, which was launched in India earlier this year, is the best-selling smartphone in the country. The device with features a 2GB RAM /32GB storage variant, and 4GB/64GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,999 which is N62,676 here in Nigeria, for the 3GB/32GB and Rs. 12,999 about N74,073 for the 4GB/64GB.

Xiaomi has begun rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to Redmi Note 4 users in India. The update which is coming via OTA, include MIUI version as well as the July Android security patch. For global users of the device, expect to get the MIUI 9 update as it has already begun rolling out. For those expecting the update, please not that the size is around 1.3GB so it will be advisable use a Wi-Fi connection to download it.
