Samsung Developed Its Own GPU Named S-GPU

Samsung is known for spending more on research more than any other phone maker. The company was rumour to be developing a new Graphics processing unit (GPU) which it plans to use on its next flagship design. Although the processing unit never made it to the Galaxy S8, but recent indication suggest that the newly developed Graphics processing unit may be making it to Samsung next year's flagship. 

Samsung Exynos processing chipsets

While no detail have been given on the new Graphics processor known as S-GPU, report says Samsung may license either NVIDIA or AMD in the production. Samsung did came out with its own custom version of the Exynos chipsets known as Exynos 8895 which it used in the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The Exynos 8895 present in the Galaxy S8 and S8+ is made up of four 2nd gen custom CPU cores and four power efficient Cortex-A53 cores.
