Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Full Specs As Leaked on TENAA

The latest buzz on media recently, is the coming of the next big time from Samsung. Follow the failure of the Samsung Galaxy 7 due to over heating, phone enthusiast and manufacturers alike are waiting to see what Samsung has to offer in the their latest flagship device due to be unveil soon. The devices not known as Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are expected to hit the market soon.



Over the past few month since Samsung made it known they will be coming out with the device, there have been many rumoured and leaked specification of the device including photos and design. 

After a lot of speculation and guessing, Samsung Today gave many including me something to smile about as the device was spotted on TENAA which is the China’s equivalent of the FCC. Below are detail specification of both device as it happened on TENAA.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Specification

The Galaxy S8 according to the TENAA listing, sports a 5.8-inches (Super) AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 (WQHD+). According to leaks, the resolution is said to be user adjustable which means, owners of the S8 will be able to switch from the above resolution to either FHD+ (2280 x 1080) or HD+ (1480 x 720).

The Galaxy S8 comes in two varieties, one with a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and the other a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Both models can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot that accepts up to 256GB cards. The Chinese variant, of the Galaxy S8 is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45GHz.

The device which runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and weighs 152g and features a battery capacity of 3000mAh.


Samsung Galaxy S8+ Specfications

The Galaxy S8+ comes in a 6.2-inch display and features the same resolution as the S8 . It is powered by the same 2.4GHz processor and comes with same memory configuration. It’s own listing however reveals the camera details. The S8+ have a single 12MP sensor on the rear and an 8MP sensor in front. Chances are that these are the same sensors on the Galaxy s8 too.


The device coming in a larger screen means bigger battery as the 8+ features a (3500mAh) battery capacity. The Galaxy S8+ is heavier with a weight of 173g and measures 159.5×73.4×8.1 (mm). It runs Android 7.0 Nougat as well and comes with the same accessories. It will also be available in gold, blue, and black.
