The Mobile World Congress tech show in Barcelona saw the rebirth the Nokia 3310, of one of the most iconic phone ever to hit the phone market. The device which earned the name due to its long battery life and durability as well as the popular snake game which a lot of us fancy, is making a comeback after 17 year.

This is a welcome development from Nokia as the device which is consider iconic by many, sold more than 126 million before it was phased out in 2005.

Speaking, at the event an expert who welcome the relaunch version said;
"The 3310 was the first mass-market mobile and there's a massive amount of nostalgia and affection for it," commented Ben Wood from the technology consultancy CCS Insight.
"If HMD had just announced three Android devices they would have barely got a couple of column inches in the press.
"So, the 3310 is a very clever move and we expect it will sell in significant volumes."

The new device which is produce under licence by the Finnish start-up HMD Global comes with a 2.5G connectivity and is powered by the S30+ operating system.  The device maintain it long battery standard which was its trademark before it was phased. It also comes with a new version of the popular snake game pre-installed in it.
