Qualcomm Says Phone Filmed At CES Not Nokia 8

Qualcomm has announced that the mystery phone that was displayed at the CES was not Nokia 8 Flagship model but instead was used on a demonstration of the Snapdragon 835 chipset. According to Qualcomm spokeswoman Catherine Baker, said the company never reveals details of its reference design phones while revealing the device that the reports of the handset being a Nokia model "are not accurate."

Baker further added that the reference design devices used with the Snapdragon 835 chipset are the same ones it uses every year to demonstrate its latest chipset.

She said;
"We do not disclose details of our reference design. We've seen a few stories rumoring what we demonstrated in our CES booth to be a Nokia device, those reports are not accurate, our 835 demos were on our own reference design devices which we use to demo our Snapdragon SOC's every year."
Report making round the internet says Nokia was set to release a Flagship device that boast of a 6GB of RAM and a 24MP rear-facing camera with OIS and EIS, and a 12MP front-facing snapper. Whether or not Nokia is coming with the said device is still a mystery.
