Facebook Launches Mid Roll Ads Where Publishers Get 55% Of Video Uploaded

Facebook in a bid to generate more revenue will be introducing its own video ads on video uploaded on its platform. Unlike YouTube ads, Facebook video ad which is known as "mid-roll" video advertising will come up after a video has already started.

According to reports, Publishers would receive 55% of revenue from mid-roll ad sales. Mid Roll Ad will only be available for any Facebook videos that are at least 90seconds long. The downside to this is the ad which will come up mid way to a video is that it will interrupt what so ever a user is watching.

Report also says the ad has been tested for live videos and the new rollout will be available for all videos on Facebook soon.
