Facebook Launches Group Video Call Feature On Its Messenger App

Facebook has added a Native Camera feature to its Messenger App that allows you to take a selfie of yourself or record a video to share with friends. The new feature allows up to 6 group members to Video chat right inside the group.

With the new features, you can video chat with up to 6 persons simultaneously right inside the group, while up to 50 persons can as well join the group via Voice chat. Immediately the number of people on camera exceeds 6, only the dominant speaker will be seen by all other participants in the group chat.

This new feature is available to all Facebook users around the world as no region is restricted to use this feature, both on Messenger's website and their Apps for iOS and Android devices.

Download the latest version of Messenger from playstore and itunes respectively Then enter any existing group conversation and tap the video icon in the upper right part of the screen.

Now you are on the video chat and every member of that group will be notified of your presence.

At this stage, anyone can join with a single tap.

Additionally, you can call a select subset of people in the group.
