Glo introduce 4G LTE service see price and how to subscribe

Globacom Nigeria has join the list of mobile network offering 4G LTE services to Nigerians. The telecom giant has official launches the service in 6 states across the federation. This is coming just days after the company released a new list of data volume increase on some of its 3G plans. The company becames the third mobile telecom network in Nigeria to activate 4G LTE, after nTel and MTN.


I believe this is a welcome development considering the fact that the company has one of the slowest browsing networks in Nigeria. With this new development Nigerians should expected a more competitive and cheaper data service in the area of 4G LTE service in the country.

Areas to enjoy this great service in the country for now, includes Lagos, Abuja, PHC, Jos, Yola, Zaria, Benin, Warri and Eket'. According to the company, other states will be get connected are soon. The announcement was made via the telcom's official Twitter account earlier yesterday afternoon. Glo 4G LTE data plans range from as low as ₦500, for 1.6GB (1 week) to as high as ₦18,000, for 90GB (30 days)

Below are some of the data volume and validity listed on the GLO 4G LTE service 

1.6GB for N500 (7 Days Validity)
3.2GB for N1000 (30 days validity) 
7.5GB for N2000 (30 days 
10GB for N2500 (30 days validity) 
12GB for N3000 (30 days validity)

To check if your city is now connected for 4G LTE service and also to subscribe for the plan, simply dial *777# and then follow the instruction listed on the menu.
