Opera launches VPN for Android devices

Software makers Opera, today launched it's VPN app for Android Devices. The web browser maker has earlier this year, released a similar version for iOS enabled devices. The company's journey as a VPN provider started with its acquisition of SurfEasy VPN.

According to the app makers Opera, the app is an unlimited VPN which does not only block IPs but also prevent ad-tracking while keeping your privacy safe. 

Announcing the VPN app today, the president of Opera’s SurfEasy VPN division Chris Houston said;

“The Opera VPN app for Android sets itself apart from other VPNs by offering a completely free service­ without a data limit, no log­in required, advanced Wi­Fi protection features and no need for a subscription,”

This is pretty simple like every other VPN, you will receive a request to set up  a VPN connection on the device which you must accept it or you won't be able to use the service at all. 

Opera VPN allows you to set your preferred location by allow you to pick any of the list regions such as Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore, and USA. This allows you to bypass site that are restricted to some certain geographical region without having to opt for a paid service.
